Kissed by a Prince on my First Birthday

My first birthday was spent in Melbourne where we have just moved. And what a day it was. Would you believe that I was kissed by a prince? Yes. Here's the story...

Mum and I were shopping for some birthday treats on Chapel street in Melbourne when we noticed a bit of a frenzy of activity outside the shop we were in. To our surprise, Princess Mary of Denmark was shopping for treats for her son little Prince Christian. When he and his Mum found out it was my birthday, he puckered up and gave me a big kiss to wish me Happy Birthday.

Mum was too busy making sure I did not steal his dummy that she did not get s photo, so you'll just have to take our word for it.

This is me on my first birthday and Prince Christian on the left. Lucky bugger!

Back to Australia

After a couple of fun-filled weeks in South Africa, it was time to head to Australia to start the next chapter of our lives. We had to pack up our house in Noosa and move down to Melbourne.

In Noosa I got to catch up with my cousin Mali and Stu King who I hadn't seen since I was a few weeks old.

Mali and I had a whale of a time running around her house and giggling as we played with the dogs. She is one crazy chick...

We also invited a few friends around for a bit of a house party

Under the African Sun

I really enjoyed the space, fresh air and sunshine in South Africa - I could run around the house as much as I liked and play outside on the veranda.

On our last day in the bush, Dad took us on a drive to one of his favourite lookout points, called Nhape Boulder, where we watched the sunset and I wondered around and did some sightseeing.

Family Fun

It was great to spend time with my African family. I even got to meet Dad's cousin Giles.

Popppie & Granny

My regular routine in the bush was waking up early and hopping into bed for a cuddle with Poppie and Granny.

Poppie looked after me on the game drives and taught me how to use the binoculars. He also bought me my own special tent to play in during the day.

Granny Penny was hard at work teaching me how to read and write.

Me and SJ in the bush

Aunt SJ and Uncle Adi came up and spent a few days with us in the bush - lots of presents, cuddles and all of the good stuff. Cool!
